Celena Kerr

A proud alum of both Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club (PPLC) and Upper St. Clair High School, Celena Kerr has etched her name into Liberty University Flames lacrosse history. A 2025 graduate of Liberty University, Celena earned a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus in Marketing and Professional Sales, and is now pursuing a career in medical device sales—a field where her passion for healthcare innovation and competitive drive align perfectly.

Celena played a pivotal role in Liberty’s rise to national prominence, helping lead the Flames to their first-ever ASUN Conference Championship title and a historic debut in the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Lacrosse Tournament. She delivered standout performances in key matchups, including multiple points against nationally ranked Florida, and earned conference academic honors throughout her time at Liberty.

Before college, Celena starred at Upper St. Clair, where she racked up 218 career points (85 goals, 133 assists), 117 draw controls, and 40 caused turnovers in just two seasons. She was named WPIAL Rookie of the Year in 2018 and earned Section Title MVP honors in 2019, scoring both the game-tying and game-winning goals in the championship game.

This summer, Celena returns to her roots as a PPLC coach, excited to inspire and mentor the next generation of athletes. Her blend of high-level playing experience, academic achievement, and professional focus makes her a valuable role model both on and off the field.
