Sofia Jenkins
Sofia Jenkins finished her collegiate career as one of the most accomplished players in Washington & Jefferson College Women’s Lacrosse history. Over her four years, she set several program records, including 139 assists (first in W&J history), 236 points (third in program history), and 161 draw controls (fifth in program history).
In her senior season (2024), Sofia set a single-season record with 55 assists, ranking 14th in Division III. She also totaled 95 points, tying the W&J single-season record. Her 65 draw controls, 22 ground balls, and 13 caused turnovers were key contributions to her team’s success.
Hughesville, Md.native, stared for the Calverton School and played club for Maryland Revolution
Throughout her career, she earned numerous accolades, including three All-PAC honors, with her senior year seeing her named PAC Offensive Player of the Year and All-PAC First Team (Attack). She was also selected for the IWLCA All-Boardwalk Region (Second Team) and earned the W&J Athletics’ Cooper Award.
Sofia was named to the IWLCA Division III Academic Honor Roll and the CSC Academic All-District At-Large list, recognizing her success both on and off the field. Her other honors included a spot on the 2023 PAC All-Tournament Team, PAC SAAC Women’s Scholar-Athlete of the Month, and Washington Health System Student-Athlete of the Month.
