Sammy Cirino

Sammy Cirino is a dynamic coach and leader with a strong foundation in athletics, business, and community impact. Serving as Head Coach for the 2028 Blue team at Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club since 2021.

A 2020 graduate of Duquesne University, Sammy played Attack for the women’s lacrosse team and brought consistent energy on the field with draw controls, caused turnovers, goals, and assists.

Before college, Sammy starred at Torrey Pines High School, where she led her team to a CIF title, was named Offensive MVP, and averaged three goals per game. She also earned multiple honors in field hockey, including First Team All-League and Second Team All-CIF recognition. She played club lacrosse for the elite West Coast Starz.

Sammy’s leadership off the field is just as impressive. She currently works full-time at Nike as a Lead Partner Representative supporting Men’s Apparel under the Dick’s Sporting Goods account, she is also the Varsity Assistant Lacrosse Coach at Upper Saint Clair High School and a certified BodyLab Instructor at Mecka Fitness.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Lausanne, Switzerland, Sammy brings a global perspective to everything she does. She co-founded the Friendship Circle Volunteer Club at Torrey Pines, volunteered at the San Diego Rescue Mission, served as Student Council Vice President, and earned All-Academic Honors in both lacrosse and field hockey.

Whether on the field or in the community, Sammy is passionate about leading with heart, energy, and purpose.
