MacKenzie Bell

Mackenzie Bell is a Mechanical Engineer at Osborn Engineering, a Division I lacrosse alumna, and the head varsity girls lacrosse coach at Moon Area High School, where she brings her leadership and competitive spirit from the field into both engineering and coaching.

A 2024 graduate of Robert Morris University, Mackenzie earned her Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering while competing as a five-year starter on the Colonials’ Division I lacrosse team. Over her career, she appeared in 54 games and was a consistent force on defense, earning honors such as All-MAC First Team and MAC All-Academic Team in her senior season. She was known for her gritty play, high field IQ, and ability to lead under pressure—traits that now fuel her success in the engineering world.

Hailing from Catonsville, MD, Mackenzie played her high school lacrosse at Mount de Sales Academy, where she honed her skills and leadership abilities. She also competed for Redshirts Lacrosse Club and contributed to her team’s success before continuing her lacrosse career at the collegiate level.

Since June 2024, Mackenzie has been working full-time as a Mechanical Engineer with Osborn Engineering in Pittsburgh, where she continues to grow in a field she’s passionate about, while staying rooted in the region that helped shape her path.

In addition to her professional role, she has coached with Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club since 2021 and currently serves as head coach for the Moon Area High School varsity girls lacrosse team, where she was named the 2025 WPIAL 3A Coach of the Year and mentors the next generation of players with the same drive and dedication that defined her own lacrosse career.
