Hannah Young
Hannah Young is a driven student-athlete at Mercyhurst University, where she brings relentless energy and precision to both the lacrosse field and the classroom. As a freshman, the standout attacker made an immediate impact, appearing in 14 games with nine starts. She tallied 22 goals and 3 assists for a total of 25 points—ranking fourth on the team and leading all freshmen in goals scored. Known for her sharpshooting and poise under pressure, Hannah recorded multiple goals in five contests.
A proud 2023 Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club (PPLC) alum, Hannah also starred at Pine-Richland High School, where she was a four-year varsity player, two-time team captain, and helped lead her team to a WPIAL section championship. Her standout high school career earned her the prestigious honor of 2023 U.S. All-American. Now, she gives back to the game she loves by coaching PPLC youth players—mentoring the next generation with the same drive and passion that fueled her own rise.
Off the field, Hannah is double majoring in Finance and Human Resources, with strong interests in financial advising, accounting, sports business, employee engagement, and leadership development. As a Human Resources Intern for the Township of Pine, she’s worked to modernize internal systems and improve employee access to critical information.
Whether breaking down a defense or building up an HR platform, she leads with intention, efficiency, and purpose—well on her way to making an impact in business just as she has in sport.
