Gracie Kahoun

Gracie Kahoun is a dynamic force on and off the field, making her mark as a standout student-athlete for the University of Pittsburgh Women’s Lacrosse Team. A consistent contributor in 2024, she appeared in all 18 games with 16 starts, showcasing her defensive tenacity with two caused turnovers at Duke and a pair of ground balls against Duquesne. As a freshman in 2023, she laid a strong foundation with appearances in three contests, setting the stage for her growing impact at the NCAA level.

Before her collegiate career, Gracie built an elite résumé at Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke, VA, and with the nationally competitive Yellow Jackets South Lacrosse Club. A two-sport athlete in lacrosse and indoor track, she earned Hall of Fame induction at Patrick Henry and was named both Top Female Athlete and Scholar. Her high school stats are as impressive as her leadership: 132 goals, 63 assists, 208 ground balls, 70 caused turnovers, and 164 draw controls. Gracie’s talent was recognized nationally as a Newsday Top 100 honoree, a USA Lacrosse All-Academic Team selection, and a member of the Under Armour All-American Junior Spotlight Team.

Off the field, Gracie leads with equal excellence. Majoring in Natural Science with a minor in Gender and Women’s Studies, she is on track to graduate early and pursue a Master of Science in Management at Pitt’s Katz Graduate School of Business. She serves as Co-Executive Officer for Pitt’s NCAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, volunteers at The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh, and was honored with the prestigious Heart of a Panther Award for her dedication to service and leadership.

Passionate about giving back to the sport, Gracie now shares her knowledge and experience as a coach for Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club (PPLC), helping develop the next generation of athletes. With aspirations to work in medical or pharmaceutical sales, she continues to embody the values of excellence, service, and competitive drive—in the classroom, the community, and between the lines.
