Ashley Woodward is a freshman on the women’s lacrosse team at Mercyhurst University, where she’s already making an impression with her infectious energy and natural leadership at the Division I level. A proud 2024 PPLC alum and graduate of Pine-Richland High School, Ashley helped lead her team to the 2023 3A WPIAL Championship.

Before discovering lacrosse, Ashley spent six years as a competitive gymnast. That early training instilled the discipline, focus, and athleticism that fueled her rapid development after picking up a stick in eighth grade. Splitting time between attack and midfield, she quickly became known for her relentless hustle, sharp instincts, and uplifting presence—earning “Most Improved Player” honors as a freshman.

Her passion for the game extends far beyond her own success. Now coaching with PPLC, Ashley takes pride in mentoring younger players and helping them build both skill and confidence.
