Juliana Betts
Juliana Betts is a dynamic midfielder known for her scoring ability, leadership, and high lacrosse IQ. A versatile two-way player and dominant draw specialist, Juliana surpassed 100 career goals and 200 draw controls during the 2023 season—milestones that highlight her consistency, versatility, and impact.
As a four-year captain at Chartiers Valley High School, Juliana has been a natural leader both on and off the field. She played a pivotal role in Chartiers Valley’s historic 2022 WPIAL Class 2A lacrosse championship, notching seven goals and three assists in the title game. Her unselfish play, competitive drive, and ability to elevate her teammates define her playing style.
Juliana was recognized in 2024 as a USA Lacrosse All-American and All-WPIAL selection, cementing her status as one of the region’s top players.
Off the field, Juliana is equally accomplished. She serves as Student Council Chair, is President of DECA, and is a proud member of the National Honor Society—a testament to her academic excellence, leadership, and commitment to community involvement.
A proud member of the Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club (PPLC) Class of 2025, Juliana is excited to give back to the program by coaching and mentoring younger PPLC athletes, sharing the experience and passion that have shaped her own journey.
Juliana began playing lacrosse in 4th grade, and has thrived ever since, balancing success in both academics and athletics. She is committed to continuing her lacrosse career at American University, where she looks forward to making an impact on and off the field while continuing to lead with purpose.
