Bethany Snider – Club Operations/Member Management
Bethany Snider was appointed head coach of Mount Union women’s lacrosse in 2023 and has already made an indelible impact. Under her leadership, the Purple Raiders have claimed back-to-back-to-back Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) Regular Season Championships (2023, 2024 & 2025) and advanced to the first round of the 2025 NCAA tournament and second round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament. Snider’s outstanding first 3 seasons have earned her OAC Coach of the Year honors in 2023 and 2025.
A Pittsburgh native and proud Mount Union alum, Snider graduated in 2016 with dual degrees in International Business and Japanese. As a player, she played a pivotal role in leading the Purple Raiders to the NCAA Regional Semifinals. She earned IWLCA All-Region honors as a freshman at Thiel College, where she was also part of the 2013 PAC Championship-winning team.
Before returning to Mount Union, Snider served as Associate Head Coach at NCAA Division I Robert Morris University. She also spent three successful seasons as Head Coach at Westminster College (Pa.), where she developed four All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) honorees, including standout midfielder Stephanie Cimini, who earned All-PAC honors in back-to-back seasons.
Snider’s coaching career also includes experience at the NCAA Division II and III levels. She was an assistant coach at Gannon University in the 2019-20 season and coached at Ohio Wesleyan University in 2019 as the defensive coordinator, helping the team achieve its best record since 2012.
In addition to her collegiate experience, Snider has led high school and club teams to success. She served as head coach of Shaler Area High School’s varsity girls’ team, guiding them to a postseason appearance. At Carnegie Mellon University, she led the Women’s Collegiate Lacrosse Associates (WCLA) club team, and from 2013-2017, she coached True Lacrosse club teams in Pittsburgh. Snider currently serves as the Head Coach of the Pittsburgh Premier Lacrosse Club (PPLC) 2026 team and Director of Member Management, where she mentors high school athletes transitioning to the collegiate level.
With her extensive coaching background and commitment to player development, Snider brings invaluable leadership and expertise to PPLC.
